Hotel Lake Star Bistro

Like so often in India, our room looked nothing like the pictures. It wasn't spotless, but definitely acceptable. Still a good option if you take the price into consideration. The location is a very quiet part of town where no cars are allowed, a short walk from all the highlights. The rooftop restaurant offers very tasty Indian breakfast.

It was good, bit costly but good. Service was really good . Everyone was really friendly. They even have a really cute cat

The property is located in an excellent location offering 360degree view of pichola lake and Udaipur palace. If you’re on a budget and still want a fab view and walking distance to Ambrai ghat, Udaipur palace, Jagadish temple and market area. The host is cooperative and helpful

Our host, Danish and his big brother was a great persons. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The property itself was stunning. We loved the lake view from the rooftop and room was immaculate clean and well-equipped with everything we needed The location was very peaceful. stay is just a short walk from Lake Pichola, amrai gat and close to all the main attractions. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Udaipur.

I have traveled to many places and cities, but my recent stay at Lake Star Bistro in Udaipur truly stands out as one of the most memorable experiences. The place is owned and run by a wonderful family, and the warmth they extend makes you feel instantly at home. Danish is undoubtedly the best host one could ask for in Udaipur – always attentive, helpful, and full of positivity. His brother and sister-in-law, ***** with their two adorable little kids, Hassnain and Faizan, are like “little hosts” who bring so much joy and charm to the atmosphere. And Aunty – what a gracious lady, a true embodiment of Indian hospitality, making everyone feel welcome with so much love. The property itself is beautifully kept – clean, cozy, and charming. The rooms are small yet very comfortable, and the terrace is a highlight with 24/7 access. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets with a hot cup of tea or coffee. There’s also a kitchen serving home-style food, which was a delight – I must say, I had the best Poha here! Every dish was delicious and cooked with care. What made my stay extra special was how Danish went out of his way to help with my itinerary and even arranged local travel. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with family – truly a home away from home. If you’re visiting Udaipur, Lake Star Bistro is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience of genuine hospitality, warmth, and unforgettable memories.
